QUICKTAG HEADQUARTERS BUILDING, BALLYCASTLE, NORTHERN IRELAND
Wilson McMullen Architects won a competition in 2009 to design the new headquarters building for Quicktag Animal ID products based in Ballycastle, Northern Ireland. Following a successful competition bid, we worked closely with the client to design a building that would function as the companies main production facility as well as offering a retail service and acting as the main headquarters building for the company.
The building comprises a mix of manufacturing and production space, labs, retail shop unit and office and conferencing space.
The project received planning permission in 2009. Due to the economic down turn in 2009, the project was placed on hold until such time as funding could be secured for its construction.
