Farm Diversification - Holiday Cabins
We were asked by a local land owner within the Causeway Coast to develop concepts for the diversification of their existing farm to accommodate rustic holiday cabins for overnight and weekend stays. The client requested that the cabins be rustic and be reflective of the farm business and setting. They do not wish them to be highly finished externally instead utilising farming materials and aesthtics.
In contrast internally the cabins will be of a 4 star finish incorporating an open plan living space with hideaway bed and desk with each cabin accommodating some sheltered outdoor space of their own.
The project is at an early design stage and is set to be submitted for planning in summer of 2024.
