Rehabilitation of existing Cottage & Extension to existing House Armagh

The main house is to have two new dormers added to the front elevation and a new extension to the side. The extension is designed to engage house with garden and opens up via a series of sliding, folding glazed doors.

The existing cottage is in a bad state of repair and in need of a complete renovation.

The proposal sees the reinstatement of the existing brick arches to the front elevation maintaining a traditional appearance. The main gable wall is to be replaced completely and therefore we have proposed to insert a modern element of predominantly glass and timber with a redesigned entrance stair to the first floor room.
