Architect My House 2012 raises over £800

“Architect My House 2012″ has raised a tremendous £840 for Portrush Lifeboat. This is the third year that we have run the fundraiser for the RNLI and it has gained a lot of support from the local community. The fundraiser which is run throughout May, June and July each year has raised almost £3000 for Portrush Lifeboat, benefiting the training of local crew members. Ben Wilson of Wilson McMullen architects is a full time crew member of the lifeboat himself and is glad that he can do his bit to raise much needed funds for the RNLI.

Local Women help support our fundraiser for the RNLI

Local Women magazine have again supported our annual fundraiser for the lifeboat by publishing an article in their latest magazine. Thanks for the help and continued support!

New house receives an A-rating for Airtightness

A-rated Airtight House

Our recently completed timber frame house in Portrush has received an A-rating for air tightness following a series of energy performance and air tightness tests. Its high rating  puts this project in a very exclusive band of energy efficient homes within Northern Ireland. While the project never set out to be a passive house, its energy efficiency and air tightness are very close to achieving this standard.
